Over the past several years, excitement over company implemented wellness programs has been high successful.  These wellness programs are effective in helping prevent illness, improving health and boosting moral within the company. However, there is another program that can set wellness into overdrive that we call “Integrated Health Management.”

OMS has built a program that can allow you to avoid rate increases, give you money back and provide a better plan design. This is a similar program that Mayo Clinic (40,000 employees), and many others like them utilize.  This program can now work for employer groups that have more than seventy-five employees.

The program is built with a predictive modeling tool that allows all claims to run through a system (HIPAA protected) that monitors each employee and their dependant’s medical activity.

Another integral part of this program is the “First Dollar Cost Containment” components.  These consist of national vendors that work to contain large medical spending such as dialysis and oncology.  We have one client that saved more than $750,000 as a result of this program.

The employee chooses where they have medical treatment, allowing them to waive any out-of-pocket expenses and providing transportation, if the facility is more than twenty-five miles away.
